The team are exploring the world’s final frontier… traveling along the Antarctic Peninsular is like stepping into another world.
On board is Jen, Daniel (who is filming) and their friend Michael Roberts who is fulfilling a lifelong dream by coming here with his father Neil (St Kilda Football club champion & VFL brownlow medalist) who worked here more than 30 years ago – he was awarded a Polar Medal.
We encounter one of the worst storms of the season but survive to walk among the penguins; kayak with whales; sleep on the ice and somehow find ourselves swimming in the freezing waters with an Argentinean scientific researcher, unbelievable!
